Natural Gas Furnace Rebates
Replace your old natural gas furnace with an eligible ENERGY STAR model and you could qualify for a rebate of up to $700. Plus, if you install a Sensi thermostat, you could qualify for an additional $150 rebate.

Eligibility:

• You must be a residential FortisBC natural gas customer, with natural gas as your primary source of heat.
• Your existing furnace must be at least 10 years old and must not require repairs in excess of $1,000 (pre-tax, including parts and labour). Emergency replacements of a furnace that is not in working -order or is deemed unsafe to operate by a licensed gas contractor is not eligible.
• You must install an eligible ENERGY STAR furnace with a two-pipe direct vent system, as verified by a photograph included with your application.
• Applications must be submitted within six months of the invoice date.
• The Sensi thermostat must be installed by your licensed contractor at the same time as the new qualifying furnace installation.

Enbridge Instant Rebate

Enbridge has launched a new platform to provide customers with an instant rebate off the purchase of a qualifying Sensi smart thermostat device. As of July 22, 2019, eligible customers are able to obtain a digital coupon to get a $75 instant rebate off their purchase at Home Depot stores.

The instant rebate offer is only available to residential customers (detached, semi-detached, and row townhomes are eligible) who reside in the geographic areas served by Enbridge Gas and who use the device to control their primary heating source of natural gas.

• Fill out and send the grant request application form.
